Are you a people-oriented professional with a passion for fostering a positive and productive workplace? We’re seeking a dedicated and dynamic HR Manager to join our team and oversee our global operations. This role is crucial in ensuring our employees are supported, our HR processes are efficient, and our company culture remains vibrant and inclusive across the US, APAC, and EMEA.

As our HR Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of human resources, from compliance and benefits to performance management and retention activities. You will oversee people and culture initiatives, ensuring our global team is engaged and thriving. Your strategic and hands-on approach will help shape our HR policies and initiatives, contributing to the overall success and growth of our organization.



Key Responsibilities

  • Global Compliance Management: Oversee day-to-day compliance with local labor laws and regulations across the US, Australia, and EMEA. Ensure our HR practices meet all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • EOR Management: Manage our relationship with the Employer of Record (Currently DEEL) and implement and oversee a PEO to ensure seamless operations for our global team.
  • Performance and Pay Review Processes: Develop and manage performance review processes that drive employee engagement and productivity. Facilitate regular performance reviews and provide guidance on career development and growth opportunities. Oversee our pay review processes to ensure that renumeration remains attractive and incentivizing within market.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential employee relations issues, working towards positive outcomes for all parties involved
  • Drive cultural initiatives such as offsites, virtual social activities and engagement surveys against clearly defined goals and objectives
  • Develop and execute training and development plans to enhance employee growth and organizational effectiveness
  • Act as an HR Business Partner, providing support and guidance to individual contributors, managers, and executives
  • Maintain working knowledge of compliance, leave management, benefits, and payroll processes
  • Evolve and innovate on our competitive compensation, benefits, and rewards programs to attract and retain top talent. Ensure these programs are scalable and beneficial to our people and their families.
  • Enhance and manage the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a seamless experience for new hires and departing employees. This includes developing and implementing strategies to improve employee integration, conducting exit interviews, and analyzing feedback to continuously refine these processes.
  • Collaborate with the broader People and Operations team

Job requirements

Who You Are: (include required qualifications, experience, education)

  • 4+ years' experience as a Human Resources Business Partner or above, ideally in a startup and remote work environment (Experience with a global company preferred)
  • You can balance strategic thinking with practical execution. You’re comfortable developing HR strategies as well as rolling up your sleeves to get things done.
  • You have strong problem-solving skills and can navigate complex employee relations issues with sensitivity and professionalism.
  • Experience in driving cultural initiatives and achieving measurable engagement goals
  • You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You can clearly convey information and provide guidance to employees and managers.
  • You are always looking for ways to improve HR processes and enhance the employee experience. You embrace change and are proactive in implementing new ideas.
  • Background in HR operations including (but not limited to) any of the following: benefits, compensation benchmarking analysis, compliance, employee relations, HR analytics, leave management, off-boarding, payroll management, policy creation)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and being a part of complex strategic discussions.
  • Strong collaborator with an attitude embracing growth, hands-on execution, adaptability, and the scale-up spirit.

This is a fully remote role available anywhere in the United States. The anticipated range for this role $90,000 - $110,000 annually.
