As an Account Executive at TRAILD, you are the key to unlocking new possibilities for our clients. You'll play a pivotal role in our sales process, demonstrating the unique value of TRAILD’s solutions and guiding prospects from curiosity to commitment.
You’ll not only be a strong hunter who knows how to identify and close new opportunities, but also someone who understands when to lead with strategic finesse—especially when working leads that intersect with partner relationships. We’re looking for a sales professional who’s as comfortable nurturing long-term value as they are closing a deal.

Key Responsibilities
Pipeline management: Work inbound leads provided by our SDRs and other channels. Maintain CRM hygiene using Pipedrive to ensure up-to-date records.
Self-generate pipeline: Proactively prospect new opportunities through various tools, building a robust book of business. Take ownership of the full sales cycle from lead gen to close.
Product demos: Conduct engaging product demonstrations tailored to multiple levels of financial decision-makers, including CFOs, accountants, and controllers.
Lead with strategic sensitivity: Identify when a lead is influenced by partner relationships and tailor your approach accordingly—balancing deal momentum with a broader ecosystem view to ensure alignment with TRAILD’s strategic alliances.
Stay informed: Remain current with AP industry trends and product updates. Collaborate across teams to continuously improve the customer journey.
Relationship management: Cultivate relationships with SME, mid-market, and enterprise customers. Demonstrate how TRAILD’s solution can solve their AP pain points with precision.
Sales strategy: Contribute to sales planning and execute tactics that align with both individual and team revenue targets.
Customer-first mindset: Listen deeply to understand prospects’ needs, ensuring the right fit and maximizing customer success from day one.
Job requirements
Qualifications & Experience
3+ years of sales experience, preferably in SaaS or technology sectors.
Proven track record of working with mid-market and large enterprises.
Experience with ERP systems like SYSPRO, Epicor, Acumatica, Netsuite, SAP B1 and MYOB is a bonus.
Strong skills in sales, negotiation, and relationship management.
Excellent communication skills.
Team-oriented mindset with a passion for collective success.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a SaaS company.
Proficiency in CRM and sales automation tools.
Ability to work cross-functionally and navigate partner dynamics with diplomacy and foresight.
